PROGRAM OBJECTIVE 

The focus of BFND program is to help lay the foundation for successful BFSI careers, as well as to prepare participants for longer duration career programs in banking. Upon successful completion of BFND program, participants are eligible for credit waiver in IFBI’s Bank Vantage –PGDB program.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM 

The Foundation Certificate in Banking is a short term program which enables the student to polish his/ her skills for entering the banking industry. Besides covering important concepts of banking foundation, the program also grooms the student on basics of Business Etiquette, Personal Grooming, Communication Skills  and also gives the student an introduction to Selling Concepts and Customer Service Skills.

The program exposes the student to the selection processes followed by the leading organizations in the BFSI sector- including interview and aptitude test..

Eligibilty For Graduates ( For the month of July-2012)

  • Pursuing or completed Graduation

Eligibility For Candidates Pursuing Graduation

  • Age : < 25 years on date of enrollment
  • Should score : >=50% in Graduation 

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

This is 70 hrs. Program which would be completed in 18 days.

A candidate can pursue the program at IFBI with the classroom contact time of 4 hrs. per day (full time). In addition to the formal classroom sessions, students are required to participate in mock interview and presentations. To expedite the program, students may have to work on some local holidays.

SELECTION PROCESS 

The admission to BFND program is direct without any aptitude test or interview.

2.)Professional Skills- Effective Communication,Corporate Etiquettes,Personal grooming & Aptitude Building.

4.)Preparation for Banking Careers.

 

EVALUATION AND CERTIFICATION 

The classroom learning is evaluated through evaluation instruments like online tests.
To qualify for the award of the program title, candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the program.
