India, with its huge middle class households, has exhibited growth potential for the insurance industry. The insurance market in India has witnessed dynamic changes including entry of a number of global insurers in both life and non-life segment. Along with this, the health insurance industry has grown also significantly mainly due to liberalization of economy and general awareness. The entry of standalone players has widened the product range and a lot of choice is now available with the Indian consumer. Thus, there is a need for insurance professionals who will understand the customers' necessity and help to meet high (medical) inflation rates.
Taking into account the paramount need, IFBI, Institute of Finance, Banking & Insurance, in collaboration with Religare Health Insurance offers Certificate Program in Health Insurance (CPHI).
The objective of the CPHI program is to build a pool of professionals, who will associate with insurance agents to sustain the growing momentum of the sector and help it achieve new levels of profitability and customer responsiveness. It aims to identify and nurture talent for the frontline sales force of Religare Health Insurance.
The CPHI program designed to equip the candidates with both the knowledge and experience needed to launch them on a fast-track career in the rapidly-growing Insurance sector. The program is designed to build competencies in the areas of domain knowledge, application orientation, technology orientation, selling skills and customer service.
Duration & Schedule
Eligibility & Selection Process
The candidates should have completed XII or equivalent. The Candidate should not be more than 35yrs of age. Eligible candidate would undergo screening.
Upon successful completion of the 2 week program along, the eligible candidates would receive an assured placement with Religare Health Insurance.
Evaluation & Certification Process
The classroom teaching is evaluated. Tests, quizzes, assignments, case studies, viva and project-work form the evaluation instruments during the classroom phase. The transcript finally received by the student reflects scores obtained in all the courses.
Currently, the admissions are open at Delhi and Mumbai.
