Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Banking (PGDRB) is an exclusive career program for Axis Bank. The program aims to build a pool of banking professionals in India, who can help Axis bank achieve new levels of profitability and customer responsiveness. 

To that end, the expert faculty at IFBI has designed a comprehensive portfolio of relevant course content that hones the soft and domain-specific skills needed by New-Age banking professionals. The program, thus creates first-day-first hour industry-ready entry level professionals for Axis Bank.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM  

The PGDRB is a three term program spanned over three months of full time class work, followed by one week of on the job training at specified Axis Bank branch. The program is unique in both its content as well as its methodology.

PGDRB program consists of four hours of classroom study and three hours of supervised self-study per day. Supervised self-study takes place after the classroom. In addition to the formal classroom sessions, students may be required to participate in collaborative projects and assignments along with e-learning and other reference work. To complete the program, students may have to work on some local holidays.

Students upon successful completion of PGDRB qualify for employment in Axis Bank.

PLACEMENT FACILITY 

Placement Facility: IFBI will provide the selected candidates with the Admission Letter to PGDRB program and Axis Bank will provide a Conditional Offer Letter (Conditional offer letter will mention that candidates will be placed in Axis Bank, on successful completion of PGDRB program). On successful completion of the 4-month program, Axis Bank will offer letter of employment to the candidates.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Age : Born on or after 1st April-1989 
  • >=50% in Graduation.Preferably non-engineering & non-MBA graduates.
  • No Gaps, Regular Graduation /no correspondence,No Siblings and all other terms & conditions as applicable.


SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates will have to appear for IFBI’s Common Entrance Test (ICET), which is an online test. The candidates are advised to practice their keyboard skills and become familiar with online tests by taking an online practice test. Admission to IFBI PGDRB program is granted based on the performance in ICET, IFBI Interview and Axis Bank’s Interview. Selected candidates will be offered provisional appointment letter as per the terms and conditions during the PGDRB enrollment process.

EVALUATION AND CERTIFICATION 
 

  • The classroom phase of the program is evaluated. Test, quizzes, assignments and project work form evaluation instruments during classroom phase. 
  • The transcript finally received by the student reflects scores obtained in all the courses. Tests during the classroom phase are administered through on-line Learning and Training System. Ample opportunities are given to the students to improve their performance in the tests. The students can log on to  www.ifbi.com/student/ to access all details pertaining to their academic association with IFBI.


To qualify for the award of the program title, candidates should score >50% aggregate and fulfill all academic and performance guidelines.
