Wealth Management Program

Wealth management involves understanding customer mindshare to optimize their portfolio and help them achieve their financial goals. NIIT IFBI’s Wealth Management program not only covers a spectrum of financial products and services but also enables the participants to understand customer mindshare, design profitable portfolios, conduct investment planning, and execute it ethically to create lasting customer relationships.

Two programs are available based on the entry skill level of the participants.

  • For Experienced Relationship Managers: Certification in Wealth Management [1 month]
  • For Freshers: Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship and Wealth Management [6 months on campus + 6 months on-the-job]

Certification in Wealth Management

Learner Entry Profile: Existing relationship managers with 2-3 years of experience.

Program objectives

This program aims to create professionals who can:
  • • Be trusted financial advisor to customers
  • • Hold intelligent conversations with customers around the financial industry as a whole
  • • Probe effectively to understand customer mindshare and financial goals
  • • Conduct financial planning, execution and realignment across a variety of products

The program involves an agile project, with 3 Sprints, where program participants learn to progressively build a financial portfolio.

Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship and Wealth Management

Learner Entry Profile: Fresh graduates

Program objectives

This program aims to create professionals who:
  • • Understand the Indian Economic and Banking landscape
  • • Are familiar with the banking products and processes and their applicability to various customer types
  • • Are familiar with financial instruments, markets, and products
  • • Understand organizational structure and communication protocol
  • • Possess skills in customer interaction
  • • Possess relationship-based selling skills
  • • Can hold intelligent conversations with customers around the financial industry
  • • Can analyze financial portfolios using MS Excel

This program has 4 terms of 3 months each. Term 1 and Term 2 require the learners to build base knowledge and skills at the NIIT University campus. During Term 3 and Term 4, learners go through 6 months of structured internship at work place.
